This diptych, gizmo, should have appeared on August 18th. I'll be putting up the diptychs for 8/25 (palladian) and today (vestigial) in MERE MOMENTS.
We've been using the dictionary to pick our themes of late.
Gizmo: a mechanical device or part whose name is forgotten or unknown.
Mine is some....something that I found when looking for an extension cord in my parents' garage.
I like it. I've been trying to figure out what it is! Mine is a yarn ball winder thingy. Which most people don't recognize or no what to call. Thingy seems appropriate... or.. you know.. gizmo. :)
