Having a blog, whether it is for family and friends or for the entire big wide world, on the Internet means being exposed. Period. How naked do you really want to be?
Where is the line of enough information and too much information? Who gets to determine where that line really stands? Just because she's naked on the Internet, does that make it okay for you to be naked on the Internet, too? Is celebrating your body a crime? Is it wrong to be that naked? Is it really pornographic? Why is it that our own sisters shame us for loving ourselves in a positive way? What's wrong with positive body image?
On the flip side, with all that truly naked sharing, what happens when your employer discovers your blog? Or when your mother says that her friends don't like actually really want to know all about your bedroom antics? Or your ex-husband asks you to please re-write history so he can get a date?
Nakedjen has been truly naked and baring everything on the Internet since 2003. The beautiful women of The Boob Emancipation Project Grace(<-me!), Holly, and Danielle have been serving up boobs, in particular, in celebration of all women's bodies and in recognition that we all need a safe place where we can say, "Yes, we are beautiful!"
We all know that EVERYONE wants to be naked, but how many are truly brave enough to do it?! And why are they brave enough....or not brave enough? And what are the real risks of being naked on the Internet? Just how naked is too naked?
There are inherent risks. Which is why so many just show their boobs and not their faces. Or password protect their sites. What does happen when your boss finds the site?
Come chat with us about all of this and lots, lots more. Learn why celebrating your body sometimes needs to happen beyond the confines of the four walls of your house. Where the intersection of loving yourself and sharing yourself and having the whole world wide web say, "Hey, you're really beautiful" all combines into actually being truly naked.
