A Photo Essay of Gabriel's Babyhood

I think the most critical thing to notice in these photos is the evolution of Gabriel's hair.

  1. What a sweet little one you have.
Remember when we were talking about how much I want a baby?

  5. Ooohhh! Can I have him???
I would never have cut his hair. He'd be my little skater/hippy/surfer/whatever else type of kid has long hair.

    He is way too cute.

  6. That was really sweet. And yes a definite hair evolution. Wow an umbilical hernia? I've never heard of that but it looks painful. Poor guy.

  7. He started out with lots of it. I can't believe how blonde it got over time, and then in the last one where it's shorter it's darker! I'm tellin ya, you're gonna be beating the girlies off with a stick.

  8. @bayjb: Yeah I think a lot of the reason that he cried 6-10 hours a day as an infant and was generally disinterested in eating had to do with the fact that part of his large intestine was poking through a gap in his stomach muscles, and digesting probably hurt. But I was so tired and unkempt that that didn't occur to me until we got it fixed and he got a little less cantankerous.
